OUR STORY

PAINTING + ADELAIDE makes PAINTELAIDE

We moved to Australia in March 2020 in the midst of the pandemic chaos. Not having a full-time job for the first time in 10 years, I picked up the paint brush again (after school literally!!) and felt the eternal bliss that I was missing for so many years. That’s when I decided that this is something that I want to do forever and share the joy of painting with others. Yusuf (my partner) could see the change art brought in me and was instantly aboard this beautiful journey. And because it was the beautiful city of Adelaide which got painting back in my life, we established PAINTELAIDE.

With no financial resources to start our own studio, but our willingness to spread art and make it accessible, we got the idea of starting off as a Mobile Paint & Sip Studio. We started partnering with various bars, cafes and restaurants across South Australia to conduct our public events and also started travelling to homes, offices, parks (or basically wherever they called us) to conduct the painting sessions.

Since then there was no looking back! We now have our studio based out of Prospect and also travel across SA to host events.

PAINTELAIDE family is now a team of five passionate and experienced professionals, working together to bring a fun and colourful experience to our SA community.

We have conducted over 500+ paint & sip events and are a continued part of Adelaide Fringe, helping everyone to take a small break from their daily routine to feel ART!
